The Musée des Arts Contemporains (MAC’s) is one of the flagship cultural projects of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. This space, dedicated to contemporary creation and conceived by Pierre Hebbelinck, one of the major figures of architectural revival in Wallonia, is dedicated to the continuity of the conversion of the site opened at the end of the 80s by the permanent deputy Claude Durieux. Three main axes determine the cultural mission of MAC’s: the creation of a collection, the programme of exhibitions and the presentation of cultural activities. The publications of MAC’s bring together a specialised approach, suitable for historians as well as critics, to the cultural mediation towards the general public. With the formats and conceptions varying according to the aims of the exhibitions and exhibited artists, the exhibition catalogues of the MAC’s are an invitation to go further in the discovery of an exhibition, an artist, a work, a theme… the objective being, by careful graphic design, to bring quality texts to everyone.

Soliflor is a publishing house with a family atmosphere where plenty of ideas blossom, collected into little, colourful square books, sweeping across a variety of themes centres around the art of living, kitchen gardens, and passing through all other rooms of the house. Yes, the themes are those of everyday life, that we love to capture in the most natural and respectful means possible. Our books are both fun and serious, as practical as they are theoretical, always illustrated. Whilst not claiming to save the world, our publishing house wants to play its part in bringing good sense, advice and recipes which do good. At Soliflor, everything is managed, from A to Z. Ideas are born when meeting authors. Themes are chosen with care. Consequently, year after year our catalogue grows, with a sustainable appeal. We are present not only in bookshops, but also and especially in organic shops, big and small, in Belgium, France and Switzerland. CIPA was founded in 1965. The main aim of CIPA was to study a language as an oral phenomenon, in order to promote teaching languages and multilingualism.
It’s especially since the 70s that CIPA’s area of activities has widened and diversified. Look, for example, at the organisation of several tens of intensive internships (one for several weeks), in Mons or abroad. These concern the teaching of languages, linguistic organisation, long-distance training, peace-keeping education, linguistic preparation for the international field, the welcoming and guidance of African and Asian researchers as well as the elaboration of teaching tools.

Entre deux pages is a publishing house on publisher account and was founded in December 2018 thanks to children books author Anne Libotte’s impetus. This non-profit organisation aims to promote reading from an early age in any way possible, offering a range of books that make children, teenagers and young adults want to read. These books are of various kinds: novels, illustrated albums, gamebooks, books for dyslexic children or very young children just learning how to read and even files of pedagogic ideas for teachers, to help them make the most of books in classrooms.
