ARP2 éditions is a publishing house dedicated to the art of photography. In particular, ARP2 éditions promotes the work of photographers who explore their relationship with the landscape – whether that relationship is poetic, philosophical or of a documentary kind. Founded in 1993 by Gilbert Fastenaekens, who assured himself of the follow-up of publications with a collaboration with the graphic designer Joël Van Audenhaege, ARP2 éditions chose to prize quality, bringing about an intimist approach to images. We aim to promote this photography, and also the photographers who, through their intimate relationship with the world and landscape, provoke a deep reflection on the status of photography of our environment, in the widest sense of the term.

In March 2009, ?The Telegraph? wrote: ?Charleroi: the most depressing city in Europe becomes more depressing by the day?? Since then, its artists built a response all together : #TheNewCharleroi. Ours, was to show that although the world has a really bad view of our city, we were able to create a truthful traditional Publishing Company with real sense of literature. And it is now become a reality since August 2014. A passionate author and a mini army of volunteers created LiLys Editions. We are committed to promoting Belgian authors, writing in French or English, in Belgium and abroad, in paper and digital format. Our authors are between 11 and 80 years old, and write novels directed to an audience of 9 to 101 in different genres such as young public, young adult, the life/Social chronicles and the Crime/thriller. Gradually, our catalog expands and brings together new talents, such as Sam.B.Sam, Brigitte Guilbau and Samuel Bury.

Nowadays, motivated by the goal of a better showing of what's a study in scenic art, Michèle Braconnier and Pierre Boitte created a publishing structure of its own. L'L éditions ASBL was born to disseminate and to progressively weave what matter the most in this kind of study.
These new publications are carachterized by an attention equally shared between the form and the content. The book is considered as much as a mean to share ideas as an object with intrinsic interests. It attests of the meeting between the author, the publishers and the artisans. The time took to publish a book is deliberately assumed, and frees L'L éditions of all commercial logics.
To assure that the link between the activities of L'L and L'L éditions is preserved, only former searchers of L'L are accepted as authors. Their books are always in dialogues with their works within the frame of L'L.

maelstrÖm means ?abyss? or ?whirlpool?, natural phenomena geographically situated near to the Norwegian cost, just beyond the polar circle. A metaphorical phenomenon situated in the Yin Yang of our spirit, where light only exists through the shadow that it projects and where shadow is the condition of the birth of light. The first symbolic return to ?A Descent into the Maelström? by Edgar Allan Poe.
reEvolution refers to dreams, revolution, the dream of evolution, and acts of poetic re-evolution, of course.
Maelström was founded in 1990 as an open group of artists, poets and writers of all genres, across Rome, Brussels and Paris. In 2003, Maelström became a publishing house and participated in the creation of the network RéÉvolution Poétique in 2002. On the 22nd and 23rd April 2008, the disciples of re-evolutionary poetry would never decisively split, Maelström et Maelström Editions died for this double birth: that of maelstrÖm reEvolution!

The publishing house La Lettre volée (The stolen Letter), based in Brussels, founded in the autumn of 1989 by Daniel Vander Gucht, Pierre-Yves Soucy and Louis Jacob in the background of the non-profit organisation Ante Post, pursues a publishing policy adhering to the following three points :
- The desire to offer, across a range of collections, reflections aimed at the public which look at ethical and aesthetic issues in society, concerning culture and contemporary art.
- The international option which presides over the choice of works of reflection and published creations, and which responds to the process even of thought, a product of the refusal to enclose authors in intellectual or cultural ghettos.

With a solid experience spanning over decades, Hemma has accompanied several generations of children, who have become parents in turn, in their discovery of learning, games, colouring, subjects, their first creative activities and their first reading. Founded in 1971, the ISELP– an institution for the study of visual arts – is a place where contemporary art is approached from different angles which are mutually enriching. This plurality makes a singularity: our activities of demonstration, reflection, research, mediation and publishing all make up the richness of art today.
The ISELP benefits critical discourse concerning contemporary art by offering conferences, projections, discussions, meetings, readings, guided visits, cultural voyages and educational activities. Particular attention is given to the question of art in the public space, by the development of a think tank which leads reflection on the subject, encouraging meetings and offering the public a centre of reference.
Finally, the institute welcomes the main public documentation center of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles for visual arts in the 20th and 21st centuries.
