The Centre de recherche et d?information socio-politiques ? CRISP (Center for socio-political research and information) is a Belgian research center devoted to the study of decision-making in Belgium and in Europe. Since its creation in 1958, CRISP has remained pluralistic and independent. Research objectives are to shed light upon the real stakes of decision-making, to explain its mechanisms, and to analyze the role of all the actors involved, whether they are political, economical, social or originating from civil society. Studied subjects comprise politics, economy and society in their global dimension. Results from research carried out by CRISP or by associated collaborators are published in French.

Crossing borders, playing away from ethnocentrism, Genèse Édition is a Franco-Belgian publishing house, created in April 2009.
Its publishing policy consists of:
- Novels whose authors belong to several worlds at once. Their imagination, free from parochial codes, is enriched by a variety of rich and modern experiences, as shown in the wonderful novel "La tentation du pont" (The Bridge Temptation) by Véronique.
- Stories with content which appeals to a wide audience, such as the marvel story by Johan Frédérik Hel Guedj, "Chercheurs d'éternité" (Seekers of Eternity), which tells the story of the construction of the first polar station in Antarctica with zero emissions (a story of technical prowess and breathtaking epic human feat).
- Essays which address current issues without technical jargon such as "Secret Finance" by Paul Washer, an essay in which the author is regarding the impunity enjoyed by global financial speculation.

L'Âne qui butine is a cross-border (France-Belgium) micro-publishing house founded in 1999, with beautiful, imaginative origins. The publishing house creates works which can deviate from the traditional form of books: a ball of paper, a suspended book…
At the cost of the publisher, L'Âne qui butine has published, to this day, almost 100 authors (from France, Belgian Wallonie and Flanders, Quebec, Switzerland…). All of our authors have a poetic attitude and an air of absolute bliss faced with L'Âne (!) … the perfection of the swarm?

The mission of the MCAA?s Book Publishing activity is to make available books and
other publications related to topics relevant to researchers and their careers, as well
as the societal impact of science and research, in print and digital formats. In addition,
the MCAA wants to provide its members with the resources and support for taking
their work to the public.
With its publishing activity, the MCAA aims to respond to four objectives that are
aligned with the Association?s overall communication goals, serving both the MCAA
community and its external audiences (the target audiences of the publishing activity
are listed in more detail in section 3).
The objectives of the publishing activity are:
1. To promote the contributions of the MCAA and its members to research,
innovation, and society.
2. To offer the MCAA members resources and support for publishing their work in
book format.
3. To support the development of researchers? careers and professional skills.
4. To communicate science and research to audiences in and outside the MCAA
