Héritiers d'une longue tradition d'éditeurs imprimeurs à Tournai et, plus largement, en Wallonie, l'ASBL Éditions Wapica ambitionne d'entretenir la mémoire des bâtisseurs de notre région par l'histoire et le patrimoine qu'ils nous ont transmis.
Depuis sa fondation en juin 2011, la maison d'édition a déjà réalisé une quarantaine de publications, principalement des beaux livres d'art. Wapica est ainsi devenue un label de qualité éditoriale au service des auteurs, des projets et même des institutions officielles.
Les livres Wapica sont réalisés par des auteurs régionaux, (historiens, historiens de l'art, professeurs d'université, conservateurs de musée, passionnés, etc.), des auteurs belges et par des spécialistes de niveau international. Les livres Wapica constituent de véritables cartes de visite et de promotion de notre région.

The company: based in Brussels, Accro Éditions is a literary publishing house founded in 2021 by Philippe Brandes and Mireille Liber - an architect and a sculptor addicted (accro) to literature.
On the program: novels and stories from French, Belgian, Italian, Austrian, Moroccan, Israeli authors... Generous, lively and courageous writings exploring emotions and thoughtswithout taboos.
Three collections: "Lire et Relire", dedicated to novels; "Visages", dedicated to personal narratives; "Les Mots Vivants", a new collection of literary texts that encourage reflection on the "how" of literature.

Our publishing house now consists of two collections:
- La Tortue de Zénon unites the worlds of literature, science and mathematics. This collection wishes to offer readers original creations allowing them to discover the sciences and their alternate, different beauty. This is with the support of the Wernaers fund for the promotion of sciences.
- The collection Soleil du Nord has the aim to make people discover Dutch-language authors, from Flanders and the Netherlands.

Casterman Editions were created in 1780 and specialise in the comic book and youth publishing sector.
In 1999, Casterman became a branch of the Flammarion group. In September 2012, the Flammarion group was taken over by Madrigall, the mother publishing house of Gallimard and the third largest French publishing house. Casterman Editions today are owned completely by Madrigall.

The Archives générales du Royaume (General Archives of the Kingdom) and the Archives de l’État dans les Provinces (State Archives in the Provinces), known collectively as the Archives de l’État (the State Archives), are a scientific establishment of the Services publics fédéraux de Belgique (Federal public services of Belgium) that form part of the Service public fédéral de programmation (SPP) Politique scientifique (Federal Public Programming Service (FPS) Science policy).
The institution is made up of the Kingdom's General Archives in Brussels and 19 repositories of the State Archives across the country. From the acquisition of archives to their conservation, in addition to research, scientific research and promoting the collections, the tasks of the Archives de l’État are numerous. The Archives de l’État moreover aims to conserve archival documents produced and managed by Belgian public authorities.

In 2016 was created the Translation and Interpreting Department of the new Faculty of Letters, Translation and Communication (LTC), named Termisti, at the Université libre de Bruxelles (University of Brussels).
As Termisti was not of sufficient size to form a facultative research centre within the folds of this university, it decided, after a period of reflection beginning in 2016, to found a new centre of research, with a wider range of competences. Since 2012, the publishing house Éléments de langage have woven a pathway by merging together literary creation, innovative composition and research into language. Putting language in reflection could be its motto, because it fears neither formalities nor jokes. ?Éléments de langage pour mettre le feu à la langue de bois? (Elements of language to set fire to meaningless language) is its true name, but as certain members of its team found it a little long, it was shortened, not without gaining in ambiguity. Essentially, Éléments de langage cannot be taken literally: it breaks open discourse, like shellfish, with its fingers. It focuses all of its attention on singular words.

Diagonale is an independent Belgian publishing house. Founded in 2014 by Ann-Gaëlle Dumont and Pascaline David, it launches new authors and specialises in publishing first novels of all genres.
Aware of the difficulties authors face when trying to break into the publishing world, it offers to return rejected manuscripts in the format of synopses, allowing authors to be guided and encouraged in their writing. Subsequently, they form a trusting relationship with the author, useful for developing a literary career in fictional texts.
It benefits links in the book chain by placing its application forms for manuscripts in its books. It therefore encourages the discovery and sale of first novels in book shops.
