Since 2012, the publishing house Éléments de langage have woven a pathway by merging together literary creation, innovative composition and research into language. Putting language in reflection could be its motto, because it fears neither formalities nor jokes. ?Éléments de langage pour mettre le feu à la langue de bois? (Elements of language to set fire to meaningless language) is its true name, but as certain members of its team found it a little long, it was shortened, not without gaining in ambiguity. Essentially, Éléments de langage cannot be taken literally: it breaks open discourse, like shellfish, with its fingers. It focuses all of its attention on singular words.

The publishing house has been active since 1999, the result of the takeover of the Presses Interuniversitaires Européenes (PIE) by the international group Peter Lang. Our mission : help each specialist in human sciences to materialise and share their research on both a local and global scale. We offer a personalised, efficient and conscientious service to our authors, whilst guaranteeing a specialised global distribution of their work. We principally publish monographs and collections, in the major European languages. The manuscripts we receive are all submitted to a double peer review.Although before we specialized in issues of European integration, we have now expanded our editorial field to all fields of social sciences and humanities. Most of our titles are grouped in collections, discussing diverse topics such as European history, social policy, the environment, drama, etc.. We annually publish fifty titles, mainly monographs, collections of contributions, conference proceedings, essays and bibliographies.

The Archives générales du Royaume (General Archives of the Kingdom) and the Archives de l’État dans les Provinces (State Archives in the Provinces), known collectively as the Archives de l’État (the State Archives), are a scientific establishment of the Services publics fédéraux de Belgique (Federal public services of Belgium) that form part of the Service public fédéral de programmation (SPP) Politique scientifique (Federal Public Programming Service (FPS) Science policy).
The institution is made up of the Kingdom's General Archives in Brussels and 19 repositories of the State Archives across the country. From the acquisition of archives to their conservation, in addition to research, scientific research and promoting the collections, the tasks of the Archives de l’État are numerous. The Archives de l’État moreover aims to conserve archival documents produced and managed by Belgian public authorities.

The Musée des Arts Contemporains (MAC’s) is one of the flagship cultural projects of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. This space, dedicated to contemporary creation and conceived by Pierre Hebbelinck, one of the major figures of architectural revival in Wallonia, is dedicated to the continuity of the conversion of the site opened at the end of the 80s by the permanent deputy Claude Durieux. Three main axes determine the cultural mission of MAC’s: the creation of a collection, the programme of exhibitions and the presentation of cultural activities. The publications of MAC’s bring together a specialised approach, suitable for historians as well as critics, to the cultural mediation towards the general public. With the formats and conceptions varying according to the aims of the exhibitions and exhibited artists, the exhibition catalogues of the MAC’s are an invitation to go further in the discovery of an exhibition, an artist, a work, a theme… the objective being, by careful graphic design, to bring quality texts to everyone.

Each volume comprises a thematic section of 6 to 8 papers dealing with a predetermined topic in the field of architecture. In addition, a special section is dedicated to the presentation of documents from the Archives d'Architecture held at the ULB, and two miscellaneous papers provide accounts of teaching and cultural activities at the ULB's Faculty of Architecture.
